The Acoustic Calendar for Wessex

The monthly calendar of folk clubs, singarounds, acoustic sessions & open mic
("I have said it before and will say it again, this Acoustic Calendar is the best in the country and probably in the world."  Chas Jacobs)

The Acoustic Calendar for Wessex is all about DIY music (NOT concerts, gigs, ceilidhs etc).  The purpose of the Calendar is to keep you informed of all the places where you can take your voice and/or instrument and join in or do your own thing.

It consists of three parts: a monthly Calendar of events, an alphabetical Venues List, giving a fuller description and contact details for each venue, and a list of Festivals for the coming months (updated as details become available).  Each of these three parts can be downloaded in either Word doc or PDF format.  This allows you to customise them according to your own local requirements.

The monthly Calendar is actually three calendars, each covering a different area of the south-west - Part 1: Somerset*, Dorset & Devon; Part 2: Bristol; Part 3: Gloucester, Wiltshire & Hampshire.

*i.e. the real (historical) Somerset, including the areas that fell victim to bureaucratic meddling.
